Xuanwu District is one of the central urban districts of Nanjing Municipality. It occupies an area of nearly 81km2 and has a population of nearly 430,000, with 11 subdistricts, 12 administrative villages and 84 community neighborhood committees under its jurisdiction. The district is both 40 km from Nanjing Lukou International Airport and Nanjing Xinshengwei Port.
