Since this year, investment volume abroad of Jiangsu kept the rapid growth. According to the statistics by Jiangsu Hall of Foreign Economic and Trade, from January to May, Jiangsu approved 80 investment projects abroad. The volume of agreement investment reached US$221.28 million, setting the historical record.

The average investment volume of newly approved projects reached US$2.766 million. Among these, there are 3 projects with over US$10 million of investment volume. Projects of the second industry involve in mining, timber processing and equipment manufacture. Projects of the service industry involve in wholesale and commercial service industry.
