Jiangsu Investigation Team of National Bureau of Statistic released CPI of Jiangsu in February. Under the influence of snow disaster and the Spring Festival, the price of Jiangsu in February increased. CPI of Jiangsu reached 107.7, an increase of 7.7%.

In 2008, the increase of price of food drove the increase of CPI. The data shows that in February, the price of pork and chicken increased 40.9%. CPI of Jiangsu in February increased 7.7%. The scope of increase of price of Nanjing reached 9.4%.
