Nanjing CPI of May declined by small margin

Yesterday, Nanjing Bureau of Price released the newest statistic data. In May, CPI of Nanjing increased by 7.7%, dropped by 0.5%. From January to May, CPI was up 8.2%.

From January to May, the price of foodstuffs increased by 21.3%. Among these, the price of food supplies increased by 8.8%. The price of water products was up 11.9%. The price of vegetables was up 19.7%. The price of fruits was up 12.3%. The price of meats and products was up 44.7%.

But the prices of communications and service industry fell. The price of education and cultural products fell 1%. The price of communications dropped 4.5%.
