Lishui Economic Development Zone lies in the southern suburbs of Nanjing as its southern gate and on the western fringe of the Shanghai economic region. Being one of the first provincial-level development zones, Lishui Economic Development Zone has a planning area of 28 km2, of which 5.5 km2 are developed.
