"Nanjing will hold such a large-scale activity of competition as the Tenth National Games. As a native of Nanjing, I'm very proud of it," said Lu Pu. In 1986, Lu Pu immigrated to Los Angeles. Before that, he once worked at Nanjing Zhonghua High School.

Because of living in Nanjing from childhood, though Lu Pu lives in Los Angeles now, he has been always paying attention to the development and changes of Nanjing. "I always pay attention to the development of Nanjing through Internet," he told the reporter that Nanjing is very beautiful now, with nice afforestation. It is just like a garden full of energy. "I have come back several times and found that the living conditions of people in Nanjing are better than those in Los Angeles."

"Nanjing should take the opportunity of holding the Tenth National Games to agglomerate the strength of people in Nanjing and demonstrate their fine images to the whole nation and even to the whole world," commented by Lu Pu. He spoke to the reporter that the Tenth National Games is not only a national one, but also the rehearsal for 2008 Olympic Games.
