At the second day of the World Tourism Marketing Summit, Nanjing becomes the
only city that gained the opportunity to hold the special marketing meetings to
display and introduce Nanjing to the world.
Among Nanjing's delegation, Mr. Danny Homans from Holland's Martino Nanjing
Company is the only foreigner. Mr. Danny Homans introduced the vivid and true
Nanjing city with his own two years' experience in Nanjing to over 500 domestic
and foreigner participating tourism experts.
"In the two years that I have lived in Nanjing, the rapidly developing city
has changed greatly." Mr. Danny Homans said, "two years ago, the development
zones were desolate, but now there are many enterprises in the development
zones. The development zones are continuing to expand. Two years ago, the number
of private cars in Nanjing was small, but there are many private cars in the
streets now. Two years ago, I missed my hometown very much, and I must ask my
parents to send me many things from Holland. Now I can buy anything that I need
from many stores and supermarkets in Nanjing."

experience the crowded buses of Chinese transportation." He thinks that during
the process of city development, the planning of roads and other infrastructure
is very important.
Nanjing is developing into a modern city rapidly. The quantity of buildings
has increased, but the old city is vanishing." Last week, I bought products in a
