International peace Buddhist ceremony held

December 13 was the 68th anniversary of Nanjing Massacre. In order to mourn for victims, Nanjing international peace Buddhist ceremony sponsored by Nanjing Buddhism Association was held in the square of the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders.

Monks from Japanese Dongbenyuan Temple, Xiyou Temple, Yuanguang Temple, Faguang Temple, Xinglian Temple, Guangming Temple, Fushan Temple, Guangqi Temple, Yuanxing Temple, Mingxian Temple and Zhuande Temple, as well as two delegations and about 40 Japanese friends, and monks from Chinese Xixia Temple, Qilu Temple, Jiming Temple, Jinsu Temple, Tianfei Palace, and Waguan Temple and over 1000 Buddhism adherents as well as survival representatives in Nanjing Massacre attended the peace Buddhist ceremony.

After the peace Buddhist ceremony ended, Xixia Temple donated a lotus type votary lamp. Tianfei Palace also donated a censer to the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders.
