May 8th, 2005 was the commemoration day of the 60th anniversary of victory in
Anti-fascist War. Leaders and people from dozens of counties were invited to
Moscow to attend the commemoration. Germany, the adversary in the past, has long
been the honored guest. With a history of 60 years, this commemoration is more
like a gathering of all Europeans. This gathering was virtually a kind of flaunt
as compared with those countries entangled in enmities and war chaos out of
Europe. Since May 8th, 1945, Europe has been enjoying peace for 60 years.
