Yesterday, an English website for historical materials of Nanjing Massacre was formally opened with the network address of "english.nj1937.org".

In order to make more people learnt about facts of the history and reveal Japanese atrocities in Nanjing, hence giving a lesson of "Regarding the history as a mirror and treasuring the peace" to people, in December of last year, a Chinese website about historical materials of Nanjing Massacre (www.nj1937.org) was opened. Since this year, this website has attracted attention of net friends all over the world with visitors of nearly 300 thousand.

"This year is the 68th anniversary of the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese invaders. In order to commemorate this special day and make more foreign net friends learn about the history of Nanjing Massacre, we establish an English website according the Chinese one", said Zhu Chengshan, the director of the Memorial Hall of the victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders.

As informed, contents of this English website include picture and video materials, verbal evidence of witnesses, related news, the latest discoveries and research achievements, the introduction to the memorial hall, the visit guide as well as exchange on line.

At present, the number of pictures about Nanjing Massacre has reached over 300. The latest discoveries and research achievements will be open to net friends soon.
