Pude Temple is one of the cluster graveyards of victim compatriots. The Nanjing Red Cross buried 9721 corpses early or late in this place which is called "Wan Ren Keng" (pit of ten thousand corpses).

This gravestone is located on Gongqingtuan Road in Yuhuatai on southern Nanjing city (The monument of Pude Temple cluster graveyards).

On December 13 in 1937, the corpses were spread all over and the bloodstain was full of stains or spots in front of Zhonghua Gate.

This is one of the massacre sites that the Japanese troops slaughtered Chinese civilians in front of Zhonghua Gate, Nanjing.
