In the evening on July 26th, Documentary "Nanking" was shown at the building
site of the expansion project for the Memorial Hall of Victims in Nanjing
Massacre by Japanese Invaders.
About 7:00p.m., staffs of Nanjing Heping Cinema came to Peaceful Square and
prepared for the showing. Zhang Jiawei, a migrant worker from Anhui Province
said to the reporter: "Some workers know that what we are building is related to
Nanjing Massacre, but few one knows here was the 'Mass Grave'. So I have called
many fellow workers."
At 7:30p.m., rain began to fall down. But with the film beginning, over 800
migrant workers and residents converged at the Peaceful Square in order and
watched the film carefully. |
