Contracts of 54 foreign-funded projects signed

This morning, contracts of 54 foreign-funded projects with the average investment of over USD 10 million were signed in Nanjing International Exhibition Center. The total investment of these projects has reached USD 1.74 billion with foreign capitals on agreements of USD 730 million.

As informed, among these 54 projects, the number with the investment of over USD 30 million is 26, hence increasing 53% as compared with that at last "Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Fair". At the same time, 15 projects among these large-scale ones are related to service sector, twice as many as that at last one.

As introduced, among these projects, 23 are related to service sector, hence occupying 43% of all. Among these 23 ones, 11 are involved in insurance, modern logistics, software research and development as well as cultural originality.

In addition, the number of modern manufacturing has reached 28, hence occupying 52% of all. Among these 28 ones, the rate of new high-tech ones has reached 54%, hence increasing eight percentage points as compared with that at last one.

Especially, among these 54 projects, three ones are related to fundamental construction including the research and development of metro trains for Nanjing Puzhen Urban Railway Company, the supply and waste-water plants for Nanjing Pengyao Water Co., Ltd. as well as the fifth phase of Longtan Port.
