A reporter learned from Jiangsu Bureau of Statistic that in the first five months, Jiangsu realized social consumables totaling 320.23 billion RMB, ranking as the third in China after Guangdong (429.69 billion RMB) and Shandong (332.41 billion RMB).
   
In addition, the total retail volume of consumables of Jiangsu increased 16.9% in the first five months, up 1% over the same period of last year.

The total retail volume of consumables of Zhenjiang reached 248.21 billion RMB, ranking as the fourth. The total retail volume of consumables of Shanghai reached 157.03 billion RMB, ranking as the 8th.
