The newest quarter statistics released by Jiangsu Bureau of Statistic shows that in the first quarter of this year, Jiangsu realized social consumables retail volume totaling 196.147 billion RMB, an increase of 16.7%. In March, the total retail volume of social consumables reached 60.482 billion RMB, an increase of 16.1%. In the first quarter, Jiangsu wholesale and retail trade industry realized retail volume totaling 154.162 billion RMB, an increase of 18%.
