In recent days, a tombstone witnessing Japanese troops' invading Nanjing in
December of 1937 was carried to Nanjing Jiangdongmen Memorial from
Shenyang.
The "Tombstone of Japanese Soldiers" was excavated in
Dingxianghu building site in Shenyang in July of 2005 and collected by "9-18
Historical Museum".
The tombstone is material evidence witnessing Japanese atrocity. Curator Zhu
Chengshan contacted "9-18 Historical Museum" and they supported and agreed to
carry the cultural relic to Nanjing.
It is reported that after new hall
of Jiangdongmen Memorial opens, residents can see the "Tombstone of Japanese
Soldiers". |
