Yesterday, Xia Shuqin, a survival of Nanjing Massacre, met with a former
Japanese Imperial Army soldier Kiyoshi Sakakura.
Yesterday afternoon, Kiyoshi Sakakura, a 87 years old former Japanese
Imperial Army soldier who came to China as a invader and became a war criminal,
came to Nanjing University and made an address to students of the university to
regret guilt he committed in China during World War II. After the speech, he
appeared tired, but when he saw Xia Shuqin, a survival of Nanjing Massacre, he
still moved towrads Xia Shuqin first, shook hands with her, and greeted her by
saying 'Ni Hao' in stiff Chinese that means 'How are you' in English.
