On the basis of successfully holding "Consultancy and Talks on Major Project Investment in Nanjing" in 2003 and 2004 in a row, the important conference and exhibition will be held as scheduled this year. A reporter learned from the news conference of the municipal government yesterday morning, the "Consultancy and Talks on Major Project Investment in Nanjing, 2005" will be opened on May 28th with richer contents compared with last two years, including such four series of activities as culture, business and trade, travel as well as visit in addition to introduction and discussion of business attraction in major projects. Residents will have more opportunities to participate in and feel great achievements of urban construction and economic development in Nanjing.

This meeting will use "Seeking concerted development together in Nanjing" as its theme. It will be sponsored by National Federation of Industry and Commerce as well as Nanjing municipal government starting from May 28th to 30th, with its main venue still in Nanjing's International Exhibition Centre.

As introduced by Yang Zhongnan, the vice head of the Development and Reform Committee, activities of this meeting will be divided into such three sectors as introduction and discussion of attracting business in major projects, the exhibition of urban development as well as science and technology and the international forum named "Research and development of globalization and China". Besides, it will organize such four activities, forming a complete set with this meeting, i.e. culture, business, trade and travel as well as visit to the new urban area in Hexi.
