According to the newest statistics released on July 15, Jiangsu realized import and export volume totaling US$192.297 billion in the first half of this year, an increase of 21.7%. Among these, the volume of export broke through US$110 billion and reached US$112.89 billion, an increase of 24.3%. The volume of import and export of Jiangsu ranked as the second in China after that of Guangdong.

In the first half of this year, the volume of import and export of Shanghai reached US$157.572 billion and ranked as the third. The volume of import and export of Beijing reached US$135.631 billion and ranked as the fourth. The volume of import and export of Zhejiang ranked as the fifth and reached US$102.389 billion. The total volume of import and export of Jiangsu accounted for 15.6%, a decrease of 0.5%.
