Yesterday, 200 needy model workers received free physical examinations in Nanjing First Hospital.

It is learned that there were national-level, provincial-level and municipal-level model workers among them, with ages between 50 and 80. A lot of them are still working, but most have financial difficulties. Nanjing First Hospital had been cooperating with the Nanjing Federation of Trade Unions to offer free health examinations for model workers ever since last year.

The best technicians and experienced physicians from each department of Nanjing First Hospital had gathered to form a body-check team to provide various imaging services,biochemical tests and other diagnostic tests for the model workers in areas such as internal medicine, surgery and otorhinolaryngology. The hospital had also established health files for the examinees so as to provide targeted health reminders and therapeutic suggestions for them.
