Yesterday, the statistic data released by Nanjing Bureau of Statistic show that in the first half of this year, Nanjing urban per capita disposable income reached 9226.17 RMB, up 18.1% over the same period of last year. Among 15 vice-provincial cities and 16 cities in the Yangtze River Delta, Nanjing ranked as the second and the first among cities of Jiangsu.

Urban per capita income saw rapid growth. In the first half of this year, per capita income of Nanjing residents reached 10032.61 RMB, an increase of 17.9%. According to the introduction by vice director general Xia Dezhi of Nanjing Bureau of Statistic, among total income, salary income, property income and transfer income kept the rapid increase momentum.

Among these, per capita salary income reached 6667.81 RMB, an increase of 17.6%. The per capita property income of residents reached 120.98 RMB, an increase of 89%.

In the first half of this year, the per capita transfer income of residents reached 2963.33 RMB, and the scope of increase went up to 19.4% from 7.2%. According to our understanding, retirement pension increased 16.9% and social alms from government and all circles increased 19.2%.

According to the introduction, since this year, the scope of increase of consumables has enhanced. According to the statistics, the retail volume of automobile reached 4.14 billion RMB in the first half of this year, an increase of 50.4%. The retail volume of petroleum and its products reached 2.264 billion RMB, an increase of 34.3%. The retail volumes of furniture and home appliances reached 106 million RMB and 2.532 billion RMB, an increase of 35.6% and 33.5% respectively. The retail volume of communication equipments reached 891 million RMB, an increase of 30.5%. In addition, the good city appearance and optimal shopping environment attract many non-local customers.
