The other day, at a special basketball match in Nanjing Prison, a tall young man with big nose and blue eyes was very activity. He is Elbadaoui Riad Mustapha, the first foreign prisoner of Nanjing Prison. He was arrested for illegally manufacturing such fake brand makeup as BOSS, Lancome and Chanel.

Eight illegal production lines by Riad

As informed, Riad is 25 years old from Lebanon. In 1998, he came to China and dealt with electric appliances in Guangzhou and Zhejiang provinces. In the second half of 2004, he came to Nantong, Jiangsu Province and set up a company for makeup there. The legal representative was Khalifa, the twin brother of Riad. But in fact, Khalifa just played games in his office, all production lines were managed by Riad. After the production lines for fake makeup found by Chinese Police, Khalifa escaped from China.

As checked by the police, such 43 kinds of fake makeup as Lancome and Chanel worth over two million yuan. Finally, Riad was sentenced to four years' imprisonment.

Hommizational management in the prison

On Jan.25th, 2006, Riad was turned to Nanjing Prison. On Sep.17th, Riad made an application for some requests of daily life to the director of Nanjing Prison. The director offered some conveniences to his life and respected his special habits. Jail cops always bought some fresh vegetables, lamb and beef for him. Riad could cook by himself.

Met with his relations in the prison

In Lebanon, Riad has a happy family. His father is an honest businessman. Riad has eight brothers and sisters. He is the oldest one. He also has a nice wife and a lovely daughter. But he has never met with his daughter.

The other day, his father and relations came to China and met with Riad in the prison. Riad told them all policemen in the prison take care of him. His father learnt about these, then said to the policemen sincerely in not fluent Chinese: "Thank you! Thank you!"
