In Canada: all people can celebrate Saint Valentine's Day

David was born in Montreal, Canada. After graduation, he came to Nanjing University to study Chinese. Kindy settled in Canada when he was a child. He majors in ad in Nanjing University. David said that on Saint Valentine's Day, occidental would go shopping, see a movie and have a dinner with sweetie. In Canada, all people can celebrate Saint Valentine's Day. David and Kindy celebrated Saint Valentine's Day from childhood. They write some cards to friends and parents on Saint Valentine's Day. Lovers will give gifts each other, but gifts are not flower, chocolate or other expensive ones.

David said that "Love is a verb" is a proverb of Montreal. It means love embodies every action and every detail. Compared to Saint Valentine's Day, they place importance on their own festivals.

In Korea: girls presenting chocolate to boys firstly

Jiang Yuanshan comes from Korea. He majors in Chinese in Nanjing University. He has a girlfriend in Korea. He told the reporter that many youths in Korea placed importance in Saint Valentine's Day. But on February 14 in China, boys will present flowers or chocolate to girls and in Korea, girls present chocolate to boys firstly. On March 14, boys present roses or candies to girls.

Korean lovers will go shopping, see a movie and have a dinner on February 14. In order to express regards, some Korean youths will fold some stars and paper cranes to lovers.
