The longest Golden Week ended. A reporter learned from Nanjing Bureau of
Tourism that Nanjing received 4.02 million domestic and foreign tourists and
realized the income of tourism totaling 3.233 billion RMB. The per capita
spending reached about 800 Yuan. These two indexes are up 13.56% and 18%
respectively, creating the historical record of past Golden Weeks.
Statistic data from Ctrip.com show that during this Golden Week, the
popularity index of Nanjing ranks the sixth in China.
Tourism department
released that during National Day long holiday, the Confucius Temple scenic area
received 1.21 million tourists, the Mausoleum of Sun Yatsen scenic area received
523 thousand tourists, Xuanwu Lake Park received 200 thousand tourists, Pearl
Spring Holiday Area received 140 thousand tourists and Hongshan Zoo received 180
thousand tourists. During the festival holiday, the average room rent rate of
hotels reached 80%.
During the Golden Week, Suning, Wuxing, Gome, Hisap
and Fuzhong realized the sale volume totaling 1.18 billion RMB, an increase of
18.2%. According to the introduction by relative leading figure of Suning
Appliance, the sale volume of colorful TV was up 120% during National Day long
holiday.
According to the introduction, during this Golden Week, Nanjing
road passenger transport sent over 1.38 million passengers, an increase of 17%.
Especially on September 30, Nanjing road passenger transport sent 248.5 thousand
passengers.
During National Day long holiday, the first passenger flow peak appeared on
September 30. On October 1, the second passenger flow peak appeared. The third
passenger flow peak appeared on October 7 and 8.
Suburb tour has become the consumption hotspot of the Golden Week. During
National Day long holiday, some suburb tourism scenic spots welcomed in over one
million tourists. Jiangning released hot-spring tourism and received 275
thousand tourists, an increase of 25.9%. |
