Sun yat-sen Memorial is situated at Collecting Lection Building of Sun yat-sen Cemetery. The Collecting Lection Building, found in 1935, consists of three sections: main building, monks¡¯room and tablet corridor.

During the War of Resistance against Japan, the aggressive Japanese invader seriously destroyed the Lection Collecting Building. In 1982, the government appropriated funds for reconstructing the Building, and then turned it to be Sun yat-sen Memorial.
