Mayor Jiang Hongkun of Nanjing said that Nanjing would promote development of tourism industry, strengthen the combination of tourism resources and build Nanjing into a tourism city with international influence and competition.

At present, Nanjing tourism industry sees the rapid growth. Statistics show that total tourism income exceeded 46 billion RMB last year, an increase of 22%. In the first quarter, the total tourism income increased 26%.
